Numerous microorganisms are naturally present in our environment. Many of those have no effect on human health, some are even beneficial.

Nevertheless, pathogens are microorganisms dangerous to human and animal health. Each year in France, near 800,000 persons developped a nosocomial infection while in hospital or care center because of the presence of bacteria (in 90% of the cases), fungi (6%), virus (2%) or parasite (1%). 10,000 of the patients die after having contracted the nosocomial infection. And modern structures are no exception. Besides, antibiotic-resistant germs is one more factor increasing the difficulty to fight the development of these infections.

Lactoperoxidase-based Catallix® technology generates ions with antibacterial / antiviral / antifungal properties, having no effect on organic matters, human beings, ... These hypothiocanite ions are very efficient against the bacteria responsible for nosocomial diseases, i.e. E.coli, S.aureus, Legionella, Pseudomonas, etc.

These valuable ions are generated in water by Catallix® tecnology. Just a little Eau Activée® is enough to secure the surroundings by continuously humidifying the air.

Application
Catallix® biogenerators continuously produce Eau Activée® with which they supply air atomizing nozzles integrated in an air-conditionning or ventilating system. Thus, Catallix® activates the air in order to purify the atmosphere in surgey rooms, medical and care centres, retirement homes, etc.

The air atomizing nozzles used are ultrasonic ; they do not require energy unlike a humidification system using vapor for example. They do not produce contamination as they spread Catallix® natural active principle.

The degree of hygrometry is adjustable of course, so is the concentration of the active principle in the solution of Eau Activée® produced.
