  Introduction & Objectives  
       
 

The aims of this pilot project are to increase the level of environmental knowledge among food Friendly Foodindustry employees, to help the process of environmental management in food industry companies and to form a positive environmental-sound company image.

The realisation of the project consists of planning three training modules, producing study material (text books, study guides, tutor training material, CD-ROM etc.), testing the designed modules in pilot firms and evaluation and dissemination of the results within the food industry sector in the EU-countries. With food industry employees as the target group, the project gives semi-autonomous, flexible way of studying environmental aspects with a focus on the circumstances and the problens existing in the food industry.
